I never took pictures while I was pregnant, I just felt like I was huge. Thanksgiving morning I actually asked Cody to take a picture of the baby belly and thank heavens I did.
Because Thanksgiving was the day she decided to join our family!

Thanksgiving morning, an hour before dinner, my water broke at my in-laws. We got to the hospital at about one and they told me I was already dialated to a 4! Labor really wasn't too bad at all but the anesthesiologist was going into surgery and didn't know how long it was going to be so I got my epidural before I really felt a ton of pain. I took a nap and Cody watched Tom and Jerry, just about the only decent thing that was on.
At about 6:30 I felt like she was really pushing down and I was at a 10 and ready to go!
My doctor turned off the epidural so that I would actually be able to push. By the time she was born it had completely worn off and I was able to feel her move down and be born.
It only took an hour and a half of pushing for our little girl to come out and play!
Ellenor Lynette was born at 8:34 on November 24th. She was 6 lbs 10 oz and 19 1/2 inches long.
Cody's parents were amazing and brought us Thanksgiving dinner that night so we still got to be filled with turkey and all the other goods. It was a perfect meal after a perfect baby was born!

Little Ellie had a little bit of jaundice and needed some extra help from the blue lights. She looked so small in that bed with nothing around her!

We were finally able to take her home on Sunday morning.
These past few days have been amazing! She is so far a very happy baby. She likes to snuggle with her daddy and loves grandma!

These pictures were taken when she was 4 days old and even two days later she is looking so much bigger!

Tomorrow she will be one week old! We can't imagine life without her already.

Yesterday we had quite a good time. Being pregnant and laughing so hard is not the best combination, it could be dangerous!

First, our neighbors down the road have this inflatable Santa Claus that pops out of a tree and then goes back in. Because it was so cold yesterday he didn't quite make it all the way out of the tree. He leaned to one side and kind of hung over the edge of the side to where you could only see one hand. We now call him the drunken Santa Claus.

Second- We got a Pack N Play from Target yesterday and we decided to check out in the electronics section. The employee that was helping us told us to keep our receipt out just in case the front doors so that thinks we are stealing it. There was a lady in line behind us who said, "Who in their right mind would steal a crib? No one would steal if they didn't need it." I turned to her, being as huge as I am and said, "Well I definitely need it." This lady was crazy. "You definitely need one." Then she started yelling, not just saying, YELLING, "GIVE THE WOMAN A CRIB! GIVE THE WOMAN A CRIB!"

And third to top off the evening, we decided to head to Taco Bell, because we were hungry, feeling cheap after spending a lot of money, and just wanting to get home. As we are eating our food Cody notices a girl wearing rubber boots. On the farm they use high rubber boots for irrigating or for playing in cow manure. Cody asked me if next time we go out if he could wear his covered in cow crap. Yuck, yuck, yuck! I wasn't sure if I was going to pee my pants or throw up from laughing so hard. That would kill any appetite. We were discussing how many people you could make get out of line and leave a restaurant just from the smell. I am still laughing.

This past weekend Cody had a little bit of time off of work and was able to get a heater for our living room! It makes the our house so much more comfortable! The only problem is that now we have no room for our Christmas tree!!! We are still debating on moving our smaller couch out, I don't know where to yet though. Or putting our tree in the kitchen by the dining room table. Oh the joys of the holidays and rearranging.

37 WEEKS TODAY! That means this little girl is full term, I wouldn't mind if she came any time now. Her favorite spots this week have been my bladder and my ribs. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow to see if I have progressed any. I wouldn't mind her coming right after Thanksgiving, just as long as she gives me that day to enjoy delicious food and family!
