The funny things that Cody says...
Cody says funny things. Tonights comment went like this.
We are sitting on the couch watching the movie Twister, he LOVES twister.
"Do you remember the first time you saw this movie?" Of course his voice is full of excitement.
"No, why would I?" I know, sometimes I can be mean. "Do you?"
"YEA! Of course, it was my first PG-13 movie."
Oh how I love that boy. He is so full of life and excitement. The movie Twister makes him smile. Who can honestly remember their first PG-13 movie?! I am still laughing.
Happy monday!

Post influenza bronchitis...
What the heck is that?
Apparently that is what I have. Last Thursday I went to the doc in the box. She told me she had no idea what was wrong with me. This morning I went in again but this time they told me it was post influenza (meaning that is what I had last week) and its toward the ending stages of bronchitis.

Also I took wedding pictures this weekend. Check out the sneak peak!
Hope no one else is too sick. If you are, I am sorry to hear. Just make sure you have a lot of clean comfy clothes and good movies and books.

Why being sick isn't always a bad thing...
I have been sick for four days now. It takes a toll on you. Not only physically but also emotionally. So instead of complaining about how much it sucks to be sick, I'll give you a list of reasons why it's not quite so bad.
1. Less laundry. If you are like me, all you wear is your pajamas, you just saved a whole load of specials for next week or until you actually wear normal clothes again.
2. A great ab work out. If you are like me and have been coughing your guts out, by day three you will have rock solid abs. By the time a week has passed you will practically have a six pack.
3. People actually want to see you on drugs.
4. You have a great excuse to not clean. (I think this is my favorite)
5. After not being able to really eat anything for a few days your husband is much more willing to go get you McD's french fries because it is the only thing that sounds good to eat.
7. No one bothers you because they don't want to get sick. Which is probably a good thing because the apartment is a wreck from not cleaning.
8. You can finish your book that you have been working on.
9. Catching up on sleep... need I say more?
Other than being sick...
Cody has been going to school.
I have been working.
And getting excited for a wedding in two days!
We have been packing.
And getting excited to move.
And smiling,
laughing
and
loving each other's company.
Have a Great weekend!!!

(I am my mother's child. Once in a while you just need those nasty looking, greasy, salty french fries. I have not been to McD's since I met Cody. He absolutely despises the place.)
6. You have a better chance to become acquainted with netflix/redbox/hulu, whatever website has the TV shows or movies you need to keep you emotionally sane. 7. No one bothers you because they don't want to get sick. Which is probably a good thing because the apartment is a wreck from not cleaning.

A Valentines without the paper & chocolate hearts.
This year instead of doing a big fancy date and decorating the apartment, we decided to do something different. Because we are trying to start getting things organized, Cody thought it would be pointless to decorate for a week or two. Instead of doing a nice fancy dinner, he got me a massage! Work has been stressful and I come home crying at times. It is so hard for me to work under conditions that make the entire company look bad but have my opinion not matter at all.
So a massage was just what I needed.

We are also going snowboarding this evening. Fingers crossed I wont be too sore next week!
I have made a decision, well more of a discovery.
I want to shoot a lot more black and white. A lot more just on the interactive and unexpected shots. More candids.

Things that I am really looking forward to are:
- summertime dresses and shorts
- my chacos I haven't seen since September
- a lot of sunshine
- big sunglasses
- attending a wedding in the same temple we were married in
- visiting lovely pregnant and non pregnant best friends :)
- making more yummy treats like peanut butter bars
- spending more mornings like this one, waking up to a smiling husband with the sun shining in
- more time to read
- more time to enjoy just time

It is Thursday.
That means Zumba tonight.
I was looking at prices of Zumba classes in a few different areas to get an idea about the cost. How depressing. $50 for 10 Zumba classes. Oh, BYU-I fitness center, you spoil me with your free classes.

Tonights dinner is Lasagna. Not only is it home made but... I made it up. I have never made it before, meaning Lasagna at all, and I decided I didn't want to follow a recipe. One day I will eventually learn to follow a recipe. But for now I will stick to my creations.
I have been wanting to take pictures so bad lately. Everyone is getting engaged and married and I have yet to photograph them. I already have two Weddings lined up for this spring so far and I am really excited.
What I would love is to take another trip to Alaska this summer. It makes it even more tempting because my mom now works for the airlines. Cheap tickets :)
Anyways, time to light the candles, set the table, and enjoy a nice relaxing dinner.

Two and a half months....
-Until Cody is done with college and graduates. But he wont walk. -Until we will move... but we are not quite sure where to yet.
-Until Cody is done with college and graduates. But he wont walk. -Until we will move... but we are not quite sure where to yet.
-Until I can quit my wonderful job.
-Until we can unpack in a new place.
-Start a new adventure.
-Start fresh.
-Start a new adventure.
-Start fresh.
Three and a half months until Georgia.
We went on a date today in Idaho Falls.
We went to a few different furniture stores. To kill time and to try compromising and finding things we both like.
I like dark furniture.
Cody likes light colored furniture.
He likes the big elegant head boards.
I like more simple and smaller.
We both like leather but the stiffness of them is an issue. And the softness of them as well.
Don't even get me started on the patterns of fabric Cody says he likes... It is frightening.
And chaneliers... every house needs at least one.
If we don't get a divorce before we build a house then we sure will while we are in the middle of it or after it is finished.
But other than all the disagreements and complete opposite views.
We still love each other.
We had an amazing day just dreaming of what we could have one day.

Driving and talking, arguing and laughing.
It was a great Saturday.

The new year brings a lot of new and exciting things.
A few things that will be happening this year that we either know for sure will happen or that i am really hoping will happen are:
-Cody graduates college with his bachelors degree (we know this for sure unless something changes in the next few months)
-travel to the south (my fingers are crossed very tightly that everything will work out)
-hopefully Cody will find a job he enjoys and we will move out of rexburg
-the plan is for me to get back into school (thats hopefully this year)
-put our picnic basket to good use this summer
-visit family as much as possible
-just enjoy each others company in the simplest of ways
-eat lots of delicious food and treats that will be homemade
-play. a lot.
