Have I mentioned that I love Cody's job? Well if I haven't... I do. It is so nice to actually have a husband during weekends and at night time. We haven't been grocery shopping (I mean real shopping at Cosco) for a few months and we usually go every month so we decided it was time! We drug Cody's mom along while his dad was working on Saturday and had an absolute blast! Cody was in desperate need of some new cologne but the best part of the deal was they gave you a FREE PURSE with any fragrance purchase!!! SCORE!
Between the errands we also hit up Panda Express. It was amazing as always but didn't help with my whole "eat healthy loose weight" plan. Cody's brother built a fire pit that is propane fueled and we are looking into building one. It is going to be pretty cheap to build and I am excited because Cody is actually home at night and will be able to use it!
Notice the bum in the air?! She sure is trying hard to move!
I am just about to ground Ellenor from her Bumbo. She is really good at arching her back and she is also skinny which means she twists in it too well and too easily. She has just about fallen out of it a few times, even with the tray on that we got her. But she still loves it and loves being able to look around... so maybe not quite yet.
AND the count down is on.
5 days until another run. This time will be a lot better than the last. I am ready for it.
1 Week until I am done with school... well actually just 4 tests and two big papers.
13 Days until my first official mothers day!
3 1/2 weeks until miss Ellenor is 6 months old! I am always looking for an excuse for treats, this sounds like a great one!
6 Weeks until Girls Camp.
10 Weeks until my birthday!
11 weeks until ALASKA. We are very excited!

Ellenor trying to eat Cody!
This girl sure does love her daddy. And her fingers. And rolling. Anyways...Cody came home for lunch today and this little lady must have heard him because she was wide awake and ready to play!
She has also started doing a cheesy closed mouth grin, who ever taught her that is in trouble!
It has been raining all afternoon and I am actually really happy about that (as long as it stops and dries out by morning so I don't have to splash through puddles). This morning Cody informed me that he was going to mow the lawn after work today. Oh darn, I guess he will have to spend time with me instead! Poor boy!
I promise we aren't all that boring. We don't just sit around and stare at our baby all day even though we probably could and be quite entertained. I just don't ever take pictures of anything else that we do, I need to start!

So excited that she finally fits into these shorts!
Its not a secret but I am just now blogging about it. We bought a bike a few months ago and Cody is absolutely loving it. Since I've known him he has always wanted a pickup (with rims, tires, and nerf bars) and a bullet bike. It took a lot of convincing for me to say yes but I finally gave in and said yes. Every day when he comes home from work (if it is nice out) he asks if I need help with anything or if he can ride his bike.
And I am married to that hotty!!! Lucky me!!!
Don't mind the messy kitchen!
So far we are loving it. Its a fun toy and we are excited to have a new way to go on dates.

Well this crazy little one of ours is already 5 months old and I still just can’t believe it. I never thought I would miss the newborn stage, I was so anxious for her to just grow up already so that we could play. Well she likes to play and loves attention. She has such a little personality, she is so sassy already but I guess that is just payback. Right, mom?
Her little eyes aren’t always a deep brown, they change just like her daddy’s and I love it!
This past weekend we were able to go down to Logan to help
Cody’s brother build a shed, well the boys built the shed, us girls just
enjoyed the nice weather and company. On Saturday morning my sister in law
Becky and I ran a 5k and Vanessa walked the mile. It was a beautiful morning
and I was really excited about it. I hadn’t run since the last time we were in
Logan which was an entire month. For some reason I thought that it wouldn’t be
too bad. It kicked my trash. It was SO hard! Becky did amazing and whooped my
butt!
I signed up for a 5K next weekend just across the highway and so far I have run everyday this week (which is only two days so far). Itshouldn't wont be nearly as bad as this last one. I will be a lot more ready.

Let me tell you about this girl. She thinks she is funny and that she can get away with anything. Well maybe part of that is true because I let her. But look at her, how could you not?!
Yesterday morning this is how I found her. She had woken up from her nap and was talking away. I was almost done cleaning and decided to leave her until she got fussy. I hurried and finished what I was doing to find her like this. The first picture is more shock, "Mom, you are home!" She then proceeded to smile away and keep talking. She had wiggled her way out of her swaddled position and twisted 180 degrees. Those little smiles get me every time! She sure does know how to work her momma already!
Also yesterday, while napping in the afternoon, I needed something out of a container in her room. I opened the door and started to crawl, (because crawling makes you quieter and less noticeable? Don't ask me why I crawled, it seemed like a good idea at the time!) I look in her crib and she is bright eyed and awake. She was just hanging out sucking on her hands. She smiles the biggest when she wakes up. It honestly melts my heart. I love this girl.
